Role & responsibilities

  • Completion of maintenance tasks, rectification of defects including component changes within the scope of appropriate Authorisation as defined in British Airways Engineering Quality Procedures. Shall issue a CRS or Sign-Off as applicable for maintenance carried out.
  • Support Planning by ensuring completion of tasks to agreed time scales
  • Maintain a safe working environment through adherence to quality, health and safety and housekeeping standards
  • Carry out computer and documentary transactions as required.
  • Write technical specs of the aircraft for use on website, brochures and for email marketing
  • Evaluate the specifications from clients and sellers.
  • Keep up to date with products and competitors.

  • Manage end-to-end client interaction; in order to analyse business procedure, clarify client’s requirements and to define the scope of existing software, hardware and network provision;
  • Provide ROI modelling & price negotiation - undertake feasibility studies for major IT developments incorporating costs and benefits, and presents proposals to clients;
  • Create a comprehensive value based assessment framework to capture client’s business process, communicate impact of emerging technologies to clients and advise upon the potential introduction of such technology;
  • Liaise with development teams and client teams to provide advice and assistance in the procurement, provision, delivery, installation, maintenance and use of IT systems and their environments;
  • Handle customer accounts; produce reports and recommendations concerning marketing and sales strategies for senior management;
  • Keep up to date with products and competitors.
